In this post I want to tell you about two small Dutch town but really worth a visit, because here is renewed myth and tradition of Holland as a land of windmills and tulips fields.

The city of mills for excellence is Kinderdijk,
literally children Dam. Here is renewed myth and tradition of Holland as a land of windmills. The resort is located not far from Rotterdam, and is home to a fascinating system of 19 windmills dating back to 1740, one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites since 1997. Definitely not to be missed.
 The visit to the mills is really interesting with a visit also inside to see how it lived. if there is even a little of the blades with the wind turning impressive power, but within the mechanisms all wood do not make noise: awesome !! Also worth seeing the film that explains their history and how the Dutch have snatched the land to the sea. Even the gift shop is well stocked and with good prices.



Keukenhof is instead a popular destination for hosting one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the world, is located near the town of Lisse. If you get a chance to visit it in the spring, you'll come across an unforgettable and inebriating explosion of colors and scents.
The park offers many types of flowers including the tulip is the master. Surely you must expend a few hours of your time because you have to enjoy every corner and every view: very relaxing place for all ages.
From Amsterdam is easily reached using both the train that airport buses of Shipol and other direct bus them to the garden. The means are super punctual and very frequent (about every 10 minutes). Surely towards the end of April we have the greatest flowering of cultivated tulip fields: real artist canvas!

In questo post voglio parlarvi di due piccole città olandesi che però meritano davvero di essere visitate, perchè qui si rinnova il mito e la tradizione dell'Olanda come terra dei mulini a vento e delle distese di tulipani.
La città dei mulini per eccellenza è Kinderdijk, 
letteralmente Diga dei bambini. La località sorge poco distante da da Rotterdam, ed ospita un affascinante sistema di 19 mulini a vento risalente al 1740, dichiarato patrimonio dell'umanità dall’ UNESCO a partire dal 1997. Sicuramente da non perdere.
 La visita ai mulini è veramente interessante con visita anche all'interno per vedere come ci si viveva. se c'è anche solo un po' di vento le pale girano con una potenza impressionante, ma all'interno i meccanismi tutti in legno non fanno rumore: incredibile!! Da vedere anche il film che spiega la loro storia e come gli olandesi hanno strappato la terra al mare. Anche il negozio di souvenir è molto fornito e con prezzi buoni.


Keukenhof è invece una destinazione famosa per ospitare uno dei parchi botanici più belli al mondo, si trova vicino alla città di Lisse. Se avrete l'opportunità di visitarla in primavera, vi imbatterete in un'indimenticabile e inebriante esplosione di colori e di profumi. 

Il parco offre molteplici tipologie di fiori fra le quali la fa da padrone il tulipano. Sicuramente occorre spendervi qualche ora del proprio tempo perchè bisogna godere di ogni angolo e di ogni scorcio: posto veramente rilassante adatto ad ogni età. 
Da Amsterdam si raggiunge facilmente usando sia il treno che gli autobus che portano all'aeroporto di Shipol e di li altro autobus diretto per il giardino. I mezzi sono superpuntuali al "secondo" e molto frequenti (circa ogni 10 minuti). Sicuramente verso la fine di aprile si ha la massima fioritura dei campi coltivati a tulipani: vere tele d'artista!
