Little Venice and the Old Town
Another treasure to be discovered: the Little Venice. It is a charming maze of small canals, crossed by flat-bottomed boats available for tourists, as a whole of half-timbered houses, the geraniums, the insignia and warm colors.
Back on dry land, do not miss the Gothic and Renaissance jewels of the old city. The Collegiate Church of San Martino, with its beautiful terraces to appreciate in the summer, the Dominican Church, Maison Pfister, or even the Maison des Têtes, surely one of the most beautiful buildings in Colmar. Behind its 111 sculptures, lies one of the best tables in town.
The Museum Unterlinden, Bartholdi and the Toy Museum
Every year, thousands of visitors queue up to admire the altarpiece of Issenheim of Untelinden Museum. It is a group of eight monumental panels painted by Mathias Grünewald, reason why this work is an extraordinary jewel of the Rhine.
But Colmar is also the birthplace of the famous Frederic-Auguste Bartholdi: the author of the Statue of Liberty in New York. His house, now a museum, is open to the public. Drawings, models, photographs ... so many witnesses works dell'appassionate fate of this sculptor over the top.
For smaller, Colmar has even more surprises, like the Toy Museum. Set in a former cinema, it houses a collection of 1,100 toys, from the rarest to the most popular among your children.

Flora Garten and the Cologne Zoo

For those who love shopping instead Cologne is the perfect city! The streets with more shops are Hohe Strasse and Schildergasse.

Oggi è uno dei centri industriali più importanti della Germania occidentale. È stata gravemente distrutta durante l'ultima guerra. Colonia ha una famosa e antica università fondata nel XIV secolo, oggi è una delle università più grandi della Germania.
La gente di Colonia è nota per l'allegria e il loro carnevale e per questo attira ogni anno più di un milione di visitatori da tutta la Germania. Durante una passeggiata nel centro bisogna anche assaggiare la birra tipica della città, il "Kölsch". Partendo da Köln ci sono molte possibilità di fare gite in battello sul Reno.
Cosa vedere
Il duomo di Colonia e il Museo romano-germanico
La città è dominata dal duomo, una imponente costruzione gotica che da sola basterebbe già per rendere Colonia una meta turistica di prim'ordine. L'interno sorprende per le dimensioni specialmente per l'altezza. La visita al tesoro si paga ma ne vale la pena. Il duomo si vede da qualsiasi parte della città e spicca in modo sorprendente. Non si va a Colonia senza vederlo: è un po' come andare a Roma e non vedere il Colosseo!
Proprio accanto al duomo si trova il Museo romano-germanico che da un'idea della vita quotidiana di 2000 anni fa. Esso consente di conoscere la storia della civiltà romana nella capitale della provincia della Germania inferiore, Colonia Agrippina. L'edificio moderno, forse discutibile dal punto di vista urbanistico, rispetto alla splendida Cattedrale gotica alle sue spalle, consente però un ottimo percorso espositivo tematico, che illustra i diversi aspetti della vita quotidiana nell'Antichità con mirabili reperti, quali splendidi mosaici policromi ed epigrafi e monumenti funerari di notevole interesse, Sicuramente una visita auspicabile non solo per gli appassionati di storia e archeologia ma anche per chi voglia ripercorrere il passato e la romanità in quest'angolo periferico, ma strategico dell'impero romano.

Salire su questa torre poste dall'altra parte del Reno rispetto alla città vecchia è un'esperienza assolutamente da fare. Al costo di soli 3 € da lassù è possibile vedere il panorama della città a 360°. L'osservazione viene facilitata dalle indicazioni dei principali edifici della città posti sulle vetrate.

Innanzitutto è fantastico che per entrare nell'orto Botanico non si paga nulla ed è tenuto
fantasticamente, con fiori e istallazioni molto curate con cui il pubblico può interagire, fare foto sempre senza pagare. All'interno c'è il "Dank Augusta" un locale molto caratteristico che offre il pranzo in barattoli e al posto del vassoio usa delle simpatiche shooper, molto originale.
Lo zoo di Colonia è piuttosto grande, ci vogliono almeno 5 ore per visitarlo tutto,compreso l acquario e l insettario. Molte le specie presenti, dal fenicottero, alla tigre,all ippopotamo,elefanti , scimmie di ogni tipo,veramente troppi da elencare. È una visita adatta sia ai più piccoli che agli adulti,altamente consigliata. Sebbene il costo sia di 19,50€ ne vale assolutamente la pena.
Altro
Queste sono le cose principali da vedere a Colonia ma se avete più giorni a disposizione per visitare questa città vi consiglio anche: L ' Hiroshima Nagasaki e il RheinPark, il Groß St. Martin, la seggiovia e il ponte Hohenzollern.
Per chi ama lo shopping invece Colonia è la città perfetta! Le vie con più negozi sono Hohe Straße e Schildergasse.

A excursion that I advice is in Paestum, only two hours away from Positano.
Paestum is an ancient city of Magna Grecia called by the founders Poseidonia in honor of Poseidon, but most devoted to Hera and Athena. In the past it was also known as Pesto.
The Amphitheatre, the Forum and other public areas are interesting but the 3 Greek temples, stone, majestic in their essential Doric style are exceptional and see them in the light of the sunset and a
magical experience. Questa splendida cittadina situata sulla costiera amalfitana è considerata la Montecarlo del nostro Paese, non per i Casinò e per il lusso sfrenato, ma per il modo in cui è stata costruita: arroccata su un'altura.
Perla della Costiera Amalfitana, è un luogo davvero suggestivo ed incantevole. La città, infatti, è stata, già dall'epoca dell'Impero Romano, un luogo di villeggiatura molto ambito: qui, infatti, furono rinvenuti nel 2004, i resti di una villa che risale a tale periodo. Il suo clima subtropicale, quindi davvero mite, consente di trascorrerci le vacanze estive ( con un caldo sopportabile grazie alla rinfrescante e piacevole brezza) , ma anche di pensare di trascorrervi qualche giorno durante la stagione invernale, in questo periodo infatti le temperature non scendono mai al di sotto dei sei gradi.
Positano è una città verticale, completamente perpendicolare al mare ed è quindi attraversata da una via principale e da numerose "scalinate", vero simbolo della città, che portano al mare ed all'interno delle quali vi sono numerosi e deliziosi negozi che vendono sia prodotti artigianali che souvenir, tappa imperdibile per turisti.
Positano risulta essere anche particolarmente importante per la sua moda infatti rinomati in tutto il mondo sono i numerosi abiti in lino. Oltre alla moda, tuttavia, Positano è uno dei centri balneari più rinomati della penisola italiana.
Le spiaggie
Le spiagge più importanti sono la Spiaggia Grande e quella del Fornillo: entrambe possono essere
raggiunte a piedi. Via mare invece si possono raggiungere le spiagge di La Porta, Arienzo e San Pietro Laurito, che vi consiglio di non perdere.
I profumi e il cibo di Positano
Il giallo dei limoni, il verde intenso delle campagne, il blu del mare. In Costiera Amalfitana la cucina e il territorio sono legati in modo indissolubile.
La bellezza favolosa delle sue località, i suoi tesori d'arte hanno un sottofondo di sapori, aromi e profumi che diventano parte integrante di questo incanto.
I limoni segnano in maniera unica il paesaggio della Costiera Amalfitana attraversato dalle coltivazioni a terrazzamento, che qui sono chiamate "giardini", e sono anche protagonisti di tante ricette tipiche: non solo il celebre liquore limoncello o i dolci come il babà, le delizie, i gelati ma anche i ravioli di ricotta insaporiti con la scorza grattugiata fino alle fette di mozzarella affumicate tra le foglie di limone.
Escursioni
Un escursione che consiglio è quella a Paestum, a sole due ore da Positano.
Paestum è un'antica città della Magna Grecia chiamata dai fondatori Poseidonia in onore di Poseidone, ma devotissima a Era e Atena. In passato era nota anche come Pesto.
L' Anfiteatro, il Foro e le altre aree pubbliche sono interessanti ma i 3 templi greci, in pietra, maestosi nel loro stile dorico essenziale sono eccezionali e vederli alla luce del tramonto e' un' esperienza magica. Le visite sono dalle 8.30 alle 19.30 e con un biglietto solo che costa poco meno di 10 euro si puo' entrare anche nel Museo Archeologico a fianco che possiede una bella collezione di mosaici e vasi dell epoca dei templi ( 500/600 a.c.). E' incluso dall' Unesco nel Patrimonio dell Umanita'.

Bora Bora is a small island of French Polynesia, consists of an indoor palm trees and coral reef atolls made up of semi-connected to each other. Symbol of the Island is the famous Mount Otemanu, shaped tombstone and 725 m high. Bora Bora is considered by many the "Best Island of the South Pacific".
But in addition to its crystal clear sea and breathtaking this island also offers activities such as snorkeling or shark feeding ( to feed the sharks to better observe them closely).
It is finally known for its dream Resorts and not surprisingly one of the favorite tourist destinations for those who want to make a Honeymoon. The most beautiful Resorts are located offshore, on tiny atolls surrounding the lagoon, and offer more privacy to their guests, often famous. Their bungalows are covered by thatched roofs and that are located right in the middle of the water. One of the most famous is the Four Seasons Resort which offers a magnificent view of Mount Otemanu and has as many as 7 villas built on the beach of 3 atolls, connected to each other. Another gem of this Resort is Spa Kahaia, a true paradise on earth. The perfect time to visit this island is the one that goes from May until October, given the better weather.
Bora Bora è una piccola isola della Polynesia francese, formata da una barriera corallina coperta di palme e composta da atolli semi-collegati tra di loro. Simbolo dell' Isola è il famoso monte Otemanu, a forma di lapide e alto 725 m. Bora Bora è considerata da molti la " migliore isola del Pacifico del sud".
Ma oltre al suo mare cristallino e mozzafiato quest' Isola offre anche attività come lo snorkeling o lo shark feeding (ovvero dar da mangiare a gli squali per osservarli meglio da vicino).
Essa è infine nota per i suoi Resort da sogno e non a caso è una delle mete turistiche preferite da coloro che vogliono fare una Luna di miele. I più bei Resort si trovano a largo, sui minuscoli atolli che circondano la laguna, e offrono una maggiore privacy ai loro ospiti, spesso famosi. I loro bungalow sono contraddistinti dai tetti di paglia e dal fatto che sorgono direttamente in mezzo all'acqua. Uno dei Resort più famosi è il Four Seasons che offre un panorama grandioso del monte Otemanu e possiede ben 7 ville sulla spiaggia costruite su 3 atolli, collegati l'uno all'altro. Altra chicca di questo Resort è la Spa Kahaia, un vero paradiso terrestre. Il periodo perfetto per visitare quest' isola è quello che va da maggio fino ad ottobre, dato il clima migliore.
